Background Information

Tropicana Gaborone began operations in 1985, followed by Tropicana Francistown in 1996. Initially, the business focused on transporting full truckloads from Johannesburg to various customers. Soon after, a warehouse was established in Gaborone. As the market grew, Tropicana opened a second warehouse in Francistown to better serve northern Botswana.

Currently Tropicana holds a liquor license and imports FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) for the entire Botswana market. These products are warehoused and delivered to customers, with the company managing its own debtor’s book and receiving direct invoices from suppliers.
